All kids got cameras for Christmas.
Good thing since this is the only photo of me taken during the holidays, my usual "squeeze in and stretch the camera as far away as possible" shot.
Despite my usual bah humbugness, we managed to have a delightful Christmas filled with family, food, and fun along with way too much Guitar Hero all around.
I'll start with Christmas Eve.
Christmas cookies for Santa. She rolled the dough out by hand (even though it was premade from Pillsbury) and use new cookie cutters.
Devon was too cool to make cookies for Santa this year.
It was a great debate over how much milk to leave out with the cookies.
She finally settled on half a glass.
Jumping ahead a little, Santa left behind only half of one cookie on Christmas morning.
And Paul caught Isabella taking a bite.
She just wanted to eat the same cookie that Santa ate.
Awwwww.
Ok, back to Christmas eve.
The kids in their new Christmas pajamas.
It was about 75 and 100% humidity (I may have even turned on the A/C that night) so they didn't end up sleeping in these.
Outside in the yard, spreading Reindeer food.
Inside, a traditional read of The Night Before Christmas.
Christmas Morning!
A flurry of excitement and fun for all.
Custom afghans from Grams
Paul holding one of his Christmas presents from me.
He looks so thrilled...and yes, that is a Tiffany's box.
Men.
Guitar Hero!
One of the few moments adults in the house didn't overtake the kids and grab the guitars.
Once the presents had been opened, we headed outside.
Isabella and her Barbie taking a spin around the neighborhood. Barbie has her own bike attached to the handlebars.
A few minutes of riding and Isabella insisted I stop holding on to the bike.
There she goes....
Devon trying out his new skateboard thing. It only has two wheels so it's not quite a skateboard but I don't remember exactly what it's called.
Underneath all that hair is Nicky! He arrived late on Christmas day.
Still tall and skinny.
With a lot of hair.
